Scales

These scales should be used during your daily practice. Don't just play through them. However, you should strive for excellent intonation, tone and pharasing of each scale. Use different combinations of slurred, stoccato, marcato, tenuto and accents to achieve variety, yet growth in your scale playing. Use a tuner with each scale and do an intonation survey for each scale to help you improve. Remember: Scales are the single most important aspect of your daily practice and should be taken seriously.
